Fort Walton Beach Fire Department (FWBFD), in collaboration with several local businesses, is working tirelessly to make Christmas 2023 a joyful event for children in need. Spearheaded by the FWBFD elves, five magical workshops are being conducted to gather toys and donations.

The first project invites the community to donate new, unwrapped toys or money.

The second workshop, held in partnership with United Fidelity Bank, involved a Toy Drive event, with the aid of FWBFD’s firefighters.

The third project, Santa’s Firehouse Cruz Thru Toy Drive, welcomes people to the fire station to drop off toy donations. Okaloosa Donuts sweetens this deal by offering free coffee or hot cocoa to donors.

Toyota of Fort Walton Beach takes the lead in the fourth project, wherein a Toyota Tundra truck is filled with toys.

The last workshop involves the JROTC teams of Fort Walton Beach High Schools assisting the FWBFD firefighters in wrapping the toys.

Step One Automotive Group provides an additional layer of support by purchasing any necessary items and decorations that were missed in the donation drives.

Other local businesses such as Timberman’s Roofing, Carr’s Floor Trader Design Outlet, and 100.3 KROCK Radio have also made generous contributions to the cause, helping to ensure a magical Christmas for the children.
